About The Print

Azalea is a Kedeyahko original print design of block geometric shapes. Inspired by the Kente cloth produced by the Ashanti and Ewe people of Ghana, which is seen as a prestigious symbol of pride. Mixed with some Caribbean influence to produce a tropical bright colour palette, Azalea provides the ultimate fusion of traditional ethnic patterns inspired by West African culture with a contemporary Caribbean flair.

The colours used in our Azalea print design depicts the following meanings:

Purple associated with femininity
Yellow, which represents royalty, wealth, preciousness and beauty
